Eeeek! I feel like so much and so little has been happening all at the same time! I've been back from Austria for two weeks now, and school has been taking a toll. Right now I'm in the midst of term one review, which is proving to be much more painful than I anticipated. Unfortunately, I really don't like going to school everyday, which is why I write about it so little here in my blogs. You get the good stuff: the weekends and side trips that keep me sane ;)
Two weekends ago the girls and I went into Ma'adi to a casual bar/club for a fun night of dancing. We had a great time dancing and laughing our stressful weeks away!
Last week was my 22nd birthday, so we went into Tagamoa to celebrate with dinner and ice cream. It was a wonderful night filled with fun surprises and great friends. If nothing else, Egypt has helped me meet some wonderful people :)

This past weekend we packed up our bags and headed to a friend's beach house in Ain Sokhna, which sits on the Red Sea. I absolutely needed the relaxation and time away from Madinaty and school. Soaking up the sun and lounging in the pool made for the perfect escape!

Thanks for staying tuned into all my (mis)adventures here in Egypt- most days are more trying than I'd like to admit, but I live for experiences like these to keep me happy :)
